Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Guwahati airport, from where our representative will meet you and assist you to the Saraighat Bridge. Upon reaching, board your cruise, settle down, and rest. Further, the ship will sail towards the riverside village, Vijaynagar. Explore the village and interact with the folks to get insights into their lifestyle and cultures. Head back to the cruise for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 2: Visit Sualkuchi & Hajo
Start your day with an upstream cruise towards Sualkuchi, where the clatter of looms gives a clue to the town’s industry. Walk through Sualkuchi and visit its silk-weaving workshops to learn about the process of silk manufacture, from cocoon and spinning to dyeing and hand-weaving into exquisite mekhela chadors. Later, drive towards Hajo, a sacred place for Hindus, Muslims, and Buddhists to visit a hilltop Muslim shrine. Then, reboard the cruise for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Guwahati Sightseeing Tour

This morning, cruise upstream and disembark at Pandu docks for a sightseeing tour of Guwahati. A drive towards Nilachal Hill brings you to the holy Kamakhya temple, known for its tantric rites and animal sacrifice. Afterward, you’ll be taken to Peacock Island, the smallest inhabited island in the world, via boat. Later, board the cruise, sail through Kurua, have dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 4: Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary & Kaziranga

Today, cruise past jungle-covered hills and turn into the Mayong River. Thereafter, take a boat for a short distance to the road ahead. You’ll be driven towards Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, well-known for One-Horned Rhinos. Start with the game drive to spot the wildlife in their natural habitat. If you depart today, you will be picked up for a drive towards Kaziranga National Park.

Optional (Riverside Village)
You can return to the ship in the afternoon and cruise towards a riverside village. Stroll through the village on foot and exchange words with the locals to learn about their ways of life.

Retreat to the cruise, sail down to Aswaklanta Temple to spend the last night, have dinner, and an overnight stay.


Day 5: Departure
