Day 01 - Negombo
Arrive in Sri Lanka, where you’ll be welcomed by Indian Visit representative at the airport & get an assisted transfer to Negombo. Upon reaching, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is leisurely; you can traverse the surrounding area. Then, retreat to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 02 - Negombo – Sigiriya (146 km/ 3 hours)

This day, after breakfast, get ready to enjoy a boat ride in Negombo Lagoon. Then, return to the hotel, pack your belongings, and complete the check-out formalities. Further, you’ll hit the roads to proceed towards Sigiriya. During your journey, you’ll pass through paddy fields, artificial reservoirs, and lakes. Enjoy a king coconut from a roadside vendor on the way.

En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a caring home for abandoned and wounded elephants. The feeding and bathing times are generally the ideal times to visit when you can observe these gentle giants at their best. At various times, you can also bottle-feed some baby elephants.

Further, continue with your journey to Sigiriya. Once reached, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. Rest of the day is leisurely. Later, have dinner and stay overnight.


Day 03 - Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya (115 km/ 2.5 hours)

On day 3 of the Sri Lanka Tour, have breakfast and prepare for an excursion to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the 8th wonder of the world. After visiting Rock Fortress, return to the hotel and relax. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Polonnaruwa. A dominant feature of the city is a vast irrigation lake named Parakrama Samudra. The palace complex of King Parakrama Bahu is a medieval stronghold of moats, walls, guard houses, bathing ponds, and thick-walled multi-storeyed castles.

After that, retreat to the Hotel in Sigiriya for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 04 - Sigiriya - Minneriya - Sigiriya (70.5 km/ 1.5 hours)

Have breakfast and head for a village tour, where you will ride a land master (tractor) passing by paddy fields, snake through the lake on a boat, explore the village, and discover the simplicity of village life. Your village tour ends with a Sri Lankan cooking experience with locals.

Later, head towards Minneriya and enjoy an exciting safari at Minneriya National Park, where you can watch elephants in their rightful home – in the wilds. One of the most spectacular wildlife events in Sri Lanka is ‘The Gathering,’ where hundreds of elephants arrive by herd from the surrounding areas to the Minneriya reservoir. As the water level recedes at the height of the dry season, they gather to feast on the lush grass, and quench their thirst for water and play.

The rest of the day is leisurely. Further, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 05 - Sigiriya - Kandy (90.1 km/ 2.7 hours)

Wake up, have breakfast, and hit the roads to visit Dambulla cave temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka. Post visiting the temple, come back to the hotel, pack your bags and check out from the hotel. Thereafter, get on the drive to proceed towards Kandy. En route, visit the spice garden at Matale. The spices have been sought after for centuries, and continue to be a celebrated export, even today.

Once in Kandy, complete the check-in formalities at the pre-booked hotel and unwind. Later, a visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens will mesmerize you with its collection of orchids. Then, visit the Gem Museum and Gem Gallery in Kandy. Later in the evening, round off your day with a cultural dance show, where the vibrant costumes and pulsating rhythms of traditional dance forms from centuries-old rituals will enthrall you. Further, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 06 - Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (76.1 km/ 2.8 hours)

Today, after breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Kandy, the last kingdom of the Sinhalese. While on the city tour, take in the sights of Upper Lake Drive and Market Square on the way to pay homage to one of the most sacred religious sites in Sri Lanka. The Temple of the Tooth or Dalada Maligawa is believed to house the ‘tooth relic’ of the Lord Buddha. Walking around the town will let you indulge in souvenir hunting with intricate treasures.

Afterward, head ‘up country’ and the city of Nuwara Eliya, visiting the Ramboda waterfalls and a tea factory. Once you reach the pre-listed hotel, complete the check-in formalities and relax. The rest of the day is leisure; you can laze around in your room or stroll around the surrounding area. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 07 - Nuwara Eliya City Tour

Start your day with an early morning trek to Horton Plains National Park with a packed breakfast to witness Baker Fall and the World’s End. Horton Plains National Park in the central highlands of Sri Lanka encompasses mountainous grassland and cloud forests. It is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region.

Later, visit Gregory Lake, a reservoir in the heart of the tea country hill city & Victoria Park, a public park to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. Post city tour, the rest of the day is at leisure. You can probe in the nearby area or shop at the local markets. Further, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 08 - Nuwara Eliya - Ella - Yala (113 km/ 3.1 hours)

After breakfast, pack your belongings and complete the check-out formalities from the hotel. Then, you will get an assisted transfer to Yala via Ella. Enroute visit Ravana Falls & enjoy a ride in the ZipLine in Ella. A quiet hill country town, Ella is steeped in the ancient legend of Rama and Sita from the Indian epic, the Ramayana.

Further, continue with your journey towards Yala. Upon reaching, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is at ease. Later have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 09 - Yala - Galle - Bentota (160 km/ 2.8 hours)

Arise early and get ready for a game drive at Yala National Park. The second largest national park in Sri Lanka and is known to hold the highest concentration of leopards in the world. During the ride, you’ll stumble upon various species of animals in their natural habitat. The bordering coastline also forms a major nesting ground for marine turtles. After an eventful morning, you will return to the hotel for breakfast.
Post breakfast, pack your baggage and complete the check-out formalities. Thereafter, hit the roads to proceed to Bentota. Enroute take a stopover to Galle and visit the Galle Dutch Fort and Museum. Further, continue with your drive towards Bentota. Upon reaching, complete the check-in formalities at the pre-decided beach hotel and relax. The remaining leisure time you can enjoy at the beach. At night, have dinner and stay overnight.

The day 10 of your tour after breakfast is scheduled for Bentota city tour which includes water sports activities, Madu River Boat ride & Turtle Hatchery.

Firstly, you will proceed to Madu River Ride to add a touch of excitement to your vacation. During your ride, you’ll encounter various species of flora & fauna. Later, you will move towards Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a successful conservation effort established to protect Sri Lanka’s turtles from extinction. Further, you will enjoy the thrill of water sports. Jet Ski, Banana Ride, and Tube Ride are some of the most enthralling water sports that you can try in Bentota. Afterwards, retreat to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 11 - Bentota - Colombo (103 km/ 1.8 hours)

This morning, after breakfast, complete your check-out formalities and proceed towards Colombo. Once you arrive in Colombo, complete the check in formalities and unwind. The remaining day is reserved for a city tour of Colombo and shopping. The city tour of Colombo begins with the visit to Pettah, a key spot of trade followed by a fort where you will observe century old buildings rubbing shoulders with modern buildings.

Then, drive past the Old Parliament building and enjoy the scenic drive down ‘Galle Face’ Colombo’s promenade. Further, make your way to the Seema Malikaya, an iconic meditation center designed by world-famous architect Geoffrey Bawa. You will also visit a Buddhist & Hindu temple and pass through the Cinnamon Gardens residential area. Later in the day enjoy shopping in Colombo. Afterwards, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 12 - Colombo Airport - Departure
