Day 1: Arrival in Chennai

Arrive at the airport in Chennai and meet our representative, who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Upon arriving at the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is at ease. In the evening, you can explore the local markets of Chennai. At night, make your way back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 2: Chennai Sightseeing Tour

In the morning, after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Chennai. The major tourist attractions include Fort St. George, Kapaleeshwar Temple, and the National Art Gallery. In the evening, visit Vivekananda House. The museum houses a collection of photographs and memorabilia from Swami Vivekanand’s life, a gallery of religious historical paintings, and the ‘meditation room’ where Vivekananda stayed. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 3: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (143 km/ 4 hours)

After breakfast, visit the finest examples of ancient South Indian architecture – Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram temples. The major tourist attractions of Kanchipuram cover the Kailasanathar temple, Ekambareshwarar temple, Varadaraja Perumal temple, and the Saniswaran temple. Further, continue with your drive towards Mahabalipuram. Upon reaching Mahabalipuram, check in at one of our listed hotels. Day 4: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (94.9 km/ 1.8 hours)

Day 8: Madurai - Periyar (154 km/ 3.6 hours)
