Day 1: Arrive at Paro and transfer to Thimphu (55 km / 2 hr)
This Bhutan tour begins as you board your flight for Paro. After landing, meet our tour representative, who will assist you with a swift transfer to reach Thimphu. Enroute, you halt at Chuzom, the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers. Moreover, this hotspot is also famous for Tibetan, Nepalese, and Bhutanese styles of Stupas. Then proceed to Thimphu, and after arriving at your pre-booked hotel, check-in and rest for a while. The evening is dedicated to exploratory walks in Thimphu’s Main Street market, where you can buy hand-woven textiles, Thangka paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and wood carvings, and jewelry. After enjoying this day, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing

Get up from bed, be ready, and have breakfast in your room. Next, proceed to Buddha Point through a short drive to admire the scenic view of Thimphu Valley. Here, you should offer prayer to the Buddha statue and experience tranquility. Later, start your trekking journey on the Buddha Nature Trail, which starts from this point and ends at Changangkha Lhakhang. It is a two-hour easy trek that lets you admire the scenic landscape.

After reaching Changangkha Lhakhang, a fortress-like temple settled on a ridge above Thimphu. Get blessings from this temple, have your lunch, and get a short drive to Pangri Zampa, one of the oldest monasteries. Next, move to the Bhutan Post Office, which has a historical significance. Then, head to the Traditional Paper-making factory and learn about the handmade process of papermaking. The evening is dedicated to a visit to Tashichhod


Day 03: Thimphu – Gangtey (150 km/ 5 hr)

Have your breakfast, pack your bags, and check-out from your hotel. Get a private transfer to Gangtey, and on your way, visit Dochula Pass. From here, admire the breathtaking view of the Eastern Himalayas. After passing this pass, visit Wangdue Phodrang, stroll in the local market, and explore the newly developed town. After that, visit Gangtey Valley and walk here to reconnect with natural beauty. Later, you will head towards the Gangtey to get insightful experience about the village lifestyle and blessings from the monastery. Next, head to your pre-booked hotel, have dinner, and enjoy a restful overnight stay.


Day 04: Gangtey - Punakha (75 km/ 3 hr)

Have breakfast in your room, freshen up, check out, and move ahead to Gangtey Nature Trail. Enjoy this easy trail for around 2 hours and admire the scenic landscape. This trail leads you to a local community school, and you will also come across the Chorten and Khewa Lhakhang. After that, you will continue your ride to Punakha. On arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel and rest for a while. Next, you move ahead to Punakha Dzong, a captivating structure that serves as the winter residence of the monk’s body. Later, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Punakha.


Day 05: Punakha

Get up early in the morning and have your first meal of the day in your room. Later, you will go hiking to discover the fields of chilies, cabbages, and rice along the banks of the Mo Chhu to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. Next, you will visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery, which is settled on the ridge amid pine trees. From there, you can admire the Valleys of Punakha and Wangdue Phodrang. Here, you will find several temples that hold great spiritual aura that you should absorb while practicing meditation. Later, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Punakha.


Day 06: Punakha – Paro (120 km / 5 hr)

Get up early and have your breakfast in your room. Pack your bags and check out from your hotel to reach Paro. You will step out for a short walking excursion to Chimi Lhakhang. This walk allows you to walk through paddy fields and villages. This walking trail leads you across rice fields and temples where you should offer to pray and spend some time. In addition, this waking trail offers the daily life and lifestyle of the villagers.

After that, get a drive for Paro, and on your way, visit SimtokhaDzong, the oldest fortress, then continue your ride. On arrival at your pre-booked hotel, complete check-in and rest for a while. Later, you will move towards Ta Dzong, home to the National Museum. After taking a tour of this museum, you will return to your hotel room for dinner and an overnight stay in Paro.


Day 07: Paro
Taktsang Monastery

Wake up early and start this day with a healthy breakfast. After finishing your meal, head to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest. You must hike to reach this one of the most famous monasteries. Later, you will move forward for Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress, through a drive. Once you reach here, you can admire the snowy dome of sacred Chomolhari. In the evening, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples in the Himalayas by Songtsen Gampo. Here, you can get insight into Buddhist culture. Later, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 08: Departure from Paro

This is the last day of your Bhutan 7-night 8, 8-day vacation package. Begin your day with breakfast and sunshine in your room. Afterward, you will pack your bags, check out from the hotel, and get a swift transfer to the airport for your onward destination.
