Ganga Aarti
Ganga Aarti is an important ceremony that takes place on a grand scale every morning and evening on the banks of the holy Ganges. The priests perform the Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi. The entire Ghat gets floodlit with a heavenly light that can be felt powerfully. The superb ritual includes huge brass lamps lit with oil and the priests chant the holy mantras that resonate the entire location.
Timing of Ganga Aarti:Ganga aarti organise two time per day One is Morning before sun rise and second one is evening after sunset. 7 people perform it roughly around 45 minute. Ganga aarti time in the morning is 5 AM and Ganga aarti stars at 6.40 PM in the evening after the sunset for approx 45 minutes at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi. Devotees come ghat to see the Ganga aarti at least one hour before the aarti.
