    HOW TO REACH SARCHU

    Sarchu is a beautiful town in Himachal Pradesh where you can reach by air, rail, and road.  

     
    The nearest airport to Sarchu is in Leh, approximately 250 km away. Flights to Leh operate from major cities. Upon arrival in Leh, travelers can hire taxis or use bus services for the scenic journey to Sarchu, crossing picturesque landscapes and high mountain passes.
    While there isn’t a direct railway link to Sarchu, the nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar Railway Station, located around 430 km away. From the station, travelers can embark on a road journey, either by hiring taxis or using other modes of local transportation, to reach the high-altitude desert plateau of Sarchu. 
    Sarchu is seamlessly connected via the legendary Manali-Leh Highway, providing an iconic road journey for adventure enthusiasts. Private and state-run buses, as well as shared taxis, ply between Manali and Leh, making Sarchu an essential and captivating stop on this epic trans-Himalayan route.
