Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at the Guwahati airport, meet our representative and transfer to the cruise at Pandu port. Upon arriving, check in and relax for a bit. Afterward, enjoy lunch while cruising downstream to Sualkuchi. Step down for a walk through Sualkuchi, a bustling little town and the center of Assamese silk production. Here, you will witness the whole process of silk manufacture, from cocoon and spinning, then dyeing to hand-weaving into exquisite mekhela chadors.
Later, make your way back to the cruise, and the rest of the day is leisurely. At night, have dinner and stay overnight.


Day 2: Visit Kamakhya Temple

Begin your day with breakfast and then deboard the cruise. Then, proceed with the drive towards Nilachal Hill to see the holy Kamakhya temple, one of the shakti peethas. With its tantric rites and animal sacrifice, seek blessings from the almighty. Later, visit the poignant Commonwealth War Graves cemetery before embarking on your cruise vessel at Uzan Bazaar. In the evening cruise past Kurua on the north bank, you can lay back on the deck to catch the glimpses of the sunset. Further, have dinner and stay overnight.


Day 3: Visit Riverside Village

Rise up, have breakfast and today you’ll visit the riverside village. You can stroll through the village to encounter the lush green fields and get a sneak peek in the lives of the tribal people. Post village tour, make your way back to the cruise. The day is spent mostly cruising upstream and lends you an opportunity to catch up on reading, writing about your experiences so far, or simply watching life unfold on the riverbanks and jungle-covered hills that rise on either side. Enjoy an Indian cooking demonstration onboard. Later, have dinner and stay overnight.


Day 4: Sail towards Tezpur

This morning, have breakfast and you’ll cruise on to reach Tezpur. On your way, treat your eyes with the picturesque scenarios. After lunch, deboard the ship and you’ll visit the 6th century Da Parbatia temple ruins. Later, explore the town by cycle rickshaw, stop at Cole Park with its medieval stone carvings saved from sites all over the region. Spend your free time exploring the adjacent markets. The ship will be waiting at the town’s waterfront for you to reboard. Get back, have dinner and an overnight stay at the cruise.


Day 5: Nameri National Park

Start your day early, have your breakfast and hit the road to reach Nameri National Park. Upon reaching, take a float trip down the Jia-Bhoroli River through the park. Grab the outstanding chance of bird-watching and sighting wild elephants. After lunch, take a village tour before returning to the ship. Later, board the ship and the rest of the day is leisurely. You can interact with fellow companions or relax. Later, the cruise will pass below a new bridge across the vast width of the riverbed, to moor at Silghat. Further, have dinner and stay overnight.


Day 6: Kaziranga National Park

Today, the day is reserved for Kaziranga National Park. Post breakfast, step out of the ship for a drive to Kaziranga National Park. This park is home to the world’s largest population of the Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros as well as the Indian Wild Water Buffalo. Get ready to observe the wildlife in their natural habitat through game drives at the Kaziranga National Park.

Later, post safari rides, return back to the cruise for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 7: Tea Garden Tour & Jeep Safari

This morning, after breakfast, you’ll head for a tea garden tour and the weekly market of Uloni. Experience the hustle bustle of the region and interact with the locals. In the afternoon, drive to Kaziranga’s Western range (Bagori Range) for a jeep safari through the lush, biodiverse landscapes of the park. During your safari, observe the wildlife up close. Afterward, return to the cruise for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 8: Departure

This morning, after breakfast you bid farewell to the crew and set off for a drive to Guwahati airport. Alternatively, we can arrange a transfer to Tezpur airport or to Jorhat airport. From airport, start your journey to back home.
