Day 1 - Arrival in Guwahati - Shillong (98.2 km/ 2.7 hours)

On your arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, you will be welcomed by our representative and will be transferred to Shillong. On the way to Shillong, have lunch and enjoy sightseeing at Barapani Umiam Lake. Being surrounded by sylvan hills, the serenity of the lake is a treat to watch. Check-in at your hotel, freshen up, and take a little rest. You can spend the rest of the time enjoying walks around the place. Halt for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 2 - Shillong - Cherrapunjee (54 km/ 2 hours)

In the morning, after breakfast, drive towards Cherrapunjee, known as the wettest place in the world. Guided tour to Nohkalikai waterfall and caves in and around Cherrapunjee. On your return to Shillong, you can also stop at Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak, which offer a panoramic view of the countryside, the highest point in the state. Reach your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Shillong - Kaziranga (226 km/ 5 hours)

Today, we set off for sightseeing at Shillong. Take pleasure in admiring the beauty of Shillong that makes it popular as the ‘Scotland of the East.’ Get on a drive to Kaziranga, post lunch. Check in at the tourist lodge, freshen up and rest. The rest of the day is at leisure; you can opt for walks to the nearby areas of the lodge. An overnight stay at the lodge.

Start your day with an adventure at the Kaziranga National Park. Explore the central regions of the park on an elephant ride. Onlook at some of the mesmerizing views of the park, like a one-horned rhino and a population of other species resting in their natural habitat. Explore the area post-lunch by taking part in a game drive. Later, you have to spend the rest of the day at leisure. Halt for an overnight stay at your tourist lodge.

Day 5 - Tribal Village Tour

This day will be utilized to visit the tribal village and Tea Estate. At the tribal village, get insights into the culture and heritage of the local tribes. Later, at the Tea Estate, you can view the lush green tea farms and learn about the procedure of processing tea. After lunch, you will check out the eastern range of Kaziranga National Park on a jeep safari. The rest of the day is leisurely spent enjoying the natural settings of the place. An overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6 - Kaziranga - Kohima - Touphema Tourist Village (296 km / 7.5 hours)

Have your breakfast and get on a drive to Kohima. Halt at Kohima, rest, and then proceed to Touphema Tourist Village. The Angami Naga village community manages check-in at Touphema Village Resort. Freshen up and use the time to travel to the nearby areas on your own. Return to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day 7 - Touphema - Kohima - Dimori Cove (52.4 km/ 1.8 hours)

Check out from the resort after breakfast and explore the village. Later, proceed towards Kohima. Visit the WWII Cemetery, located in the heart of Kohima town. Afterward, visit the State Museum at Bayani Hill for a sneak peek of Naga Culture.

Post lunch, visit Dimori Cove Guest House. This place is a camp for people to trek at the Japfu Peak. Here, rhododendron trees are abundant, and this place is considered the best for hiking in the valleys of North-East India. Later, explore the Angami village of Jakhama. After that, return to Kohima for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Kohima - Khonoma (20.1 km/ 0.7 hours)

Head towards Khonoma to visit the Angami Tribal village. This village is the home of Angami Phizo, the father of the Naga Nationalist movement. The village’s location, on the top of a hillock, provides an eye-pleasing view of the pastoral beauty. Later, return to Kohima and spend the leftover time at leisure or take gradual walks to the lanes of Kohima. An overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 - Kohima- Jorhat (204 km/ 5 hours)

Set off for a drive to the tea capital of Assam, Jorhat. Check-in to the Thengal Mansion, the historic ancestral house of a tea planter. This reflects the culture and tradition of Assamese. Post lunch, take a leisure walk in a nearby village, explore the simplicity of the place, interact with the locals, enjoy local delicacies, etc. Return to the Thengal Mansion for an overnight stay.

Day 10 - Jorhat - Majuli (by ferry)


In the morning, leave for Majuli, the world’s biggest River Island and settlement of Vaishnavite monasteries. To reach this island, you need to cross the mighty Brahmaputra on a ferry. After reaching this island, explore the natural setting of the place. For an overnight stay, you will check in at Government Circuit House.

Today, the day is reserved for the biggest river island, Majuli. You can visit the Kamalabari Satra and Auniati Satra, significant centers of Vaishnavite culture. Here you can enjoy the natural beauty and explore in and around this region. After enjoying the day at a place exhibiting serenity, return to the Circuit House. In the evening, you can enjoy the cultural events by the local artists. An overnight stay at the Government Circuit House.

Day 12 - Majuli - Guwahati (343 km/ 8.5 hours)

Start with a drive towards Guwahati, and check in to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, you can go for a river cruise on the Brahmaputra River to enjoy the sunset view. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.


Day 13 - Guwahati

Early morning visit the ‘Manchester of Assam,’ Sualchuci. This place is trendy for producing some fine variants of silk. Later, also see Hajo, regarded as an ‘all religion pilgrimage center.’ Here, you will find numerous ancient temples and various sacred artifacts. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 14 - Departure from Guwahati

In the morning, you will be provided on-time assistance and transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for onward journey.
