Indrasani Mansa Devi Temple, Rudraprayag is a structure designed in the very distant past to bring humans and spiritual beings together. The temple is having a long history of more than 13-centuries. The temple was built in the 8th century during the era of Adi Shankaracharya.

Legend and Beliefs:
It is a well-known belief that Indrasani Mansa Devi is a Mansi Kanya of one of the Seven ancient sages the sage Rishi Kashyap. The seven ancient sages were also considered as the Saptarishi.
There is also a surmise that the Devi of the temple Indrasani Mansa Devi cures the victims of the Snakebites.

- To reach the Temple via road one can catch the Govt bus to reach the closest Bus stand which is Rudraprayag and is about 14 km from the temple. One can get a conveyance like a cab to reach the Indarsani Mansa Devi Temple.
Reaching the Destination via Rail:-
- The nearest railway station to the temple is Rishikesh and is about 139 km from the temple.
- To cover those 139 km one can get a conveyance from the railway station or can hire a taxi to reach the temple.
Reaching the Destination via Air:-
- The nearest airport to the temple is Jolly Grant Dehradun and is about 156 km from the temple. One can avail of the taxi or cab from the Airport or can catch a bus to reach the temple.
Best Time to visit:
The ideal time to visit the Indrasani Mansa Devi Temple is during the summer season when the weather remains balmy and pleasant which makes this time the best to explore the spiritual aura of this place. During the winters the roads to the temple get blocked due to the heavy snowfall while the monsoon brings a heavy rainfall which makes the region slippery and it makes it difficult to traverse through this region.
