Kausani is a hill station and a small village located in the Bageshwar district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Kausani Tea Estate, located 5 km from the main city, is spread over an area of ​​208 hectares. The estate is renowned for its plantations of tea which are grown by government firms as well as local farmers and also private firms. The different types of teas are grown there are exported to countries like Germany, America, Korea and Australia.

Kausani Tea Estate remains closed from November to March. As the entire hill station is covered with snow. But the time to visit Kausani tea estate from April to October is considered the best. Also, Monsoon is not the ideal time to visit as there are frequent landslides because of heavy showers.
