The summer months of April to June are mostly considered as the ideal window in which you would see the best of Kausani, Uttarakhand. The temperatures are mild and warm at best hovering around 9 to 26° Celsius. The Kausani weather certainly provides its visitors a welcome relief from the unrelenting heat endured in the plains. The summer season lasts from late March till the end of June, and though it tends to get a little crowded, the pleasant climate one experiences here is worth it. The weather is pleasant all through the day and provides for a perfect time to explore the hill station.
Autumn and winters may also be the best time to visit Kausani Uttarakhand, as the town is soaked in solitude and serenity with a chill permeating the air. From December to mid-February the Kausani covered with sheets of snow and looks mesmerizing. Some tourists prefer visiting Kausani during this time to enjoy the snowfall and to capture fascinating views of the snow-capped Himalayan Mountain Ranges. If you want to experience the true picturesque beauty of Kausani, you must visit the place in the winter when the climate is the most exciting.
Heavy rains descend on Kausani from July to September and travel plans to this place are best avoided during this time. The rainy season sees fewer tourists in Kausani as the area becomes very slippery and there are chances of landslides in the area. Visiting Kasauli during this time of the year is not recommended to tourists as the climate remains cloudy, foggy and damp. October and November are good times to visit Kausani as the snowy mountain peaks and lush valleys around can be seen clearly during these months, and become a feast for the eyes.
