The temperature during summers could exceed 40° Celsius during the daytime, but because of the lush greenery, the place remains fresh making it one of the best Jim Corbett National Park visiting months. Summer is also one of the best times to spot animals near water bodies. As all five zones are open during this season, you are more likely to spot more animals. Other popular activities in summer are river rafting, jeep safaris, nature walks, and angling. Although it is hot still it is the best season to visit Jim Corbett to spot animals including tigers. There are more chances to spot tigers in summer than in winter since the high temperature makes them come near the river to quench their thirst which gives you a chance to see them.
The weather in Corbett National Park is pleasant during winter with lush-green surroundings that is a sight to behold. Many tourists consider winter to be the right time to visit Jim Corbett and to enjoy a safari. In this season, all the zones of the park are open for tourism and you can spot the maximum number of birds and animals during this time. The weather is an absolute delight and the temperature ranges between 10°C and 20°C during the day. At night, the temperature goes down to as low as 5°C, This is the best time to visit Jim Corbett when you are most likely to spot the maximum number of Royal Bengal tigers in their natural habitat as they love soaking up the sun in the afternoons. Monsoon may not be the best time to visit this park as only the Jhirna and Sita Bani Zones are open and the other three zones are closed. While the temperature drops between 25 - 35° Celsius, humidity increases drastically. The jungle looks lush, verdant and rejuvenated with creepers and climbers dotting the forest floor. Nature lovers would love it as this is the best weather to visit Jim Corbett to explore the lush-green areas in the park. You can trek through the hillocks and jeep safaris are also allowed. June to September is the best off-season to visit Corbett because the prices are low, and resort rates are slashed.
