Birbal was one of the Nine Jewels of the court of Emperor Akbar. He was a very senior minister. The Birbal Bhawan is a beautiful monument that is ornately carved inside out. This palace is thought to be the living quarters of Birbal.
History of Birbal Bhawan:
This place was built in 1571. It has four square rooms which are all interconnected through open doorways. The palace is situated amidst the lush green gardens and lawns. The lower Haram Sara housed Akbar’s large inventory of female servants. A walk down the lanes of Fatehpur Sikri will give a feeling of how glorious the golden era of Indian history was.
