The beautiful garden has been designed to inculcate all the aspects of nature that the Queen loved. It is said that she liked the sound of the rain and hence the king incorporated many fountains to replicate the sound. The entrance itself has two splendid fountains on either side of the gate and this welcoming the tourists into the majestic world of the royalties. Each elephant is directed inwards so that they project water at the center of the beautiful lotus pond. Several water jets also line the circumference of the pond. The fountains do not have any electrical motor to supply water. They work as per the original old days engineering and still draw water from the Fateh Sagar Lake.
