Due to its proximity to the Thar Desert, Pushkar experiences a typical desert climate. During summer, the temperature goes as high as 45 degrees Centigrade making it difficult for sightseeing. It is the offseason and there are hefty discounts on flights and hotels.
During winter, the weather is pleasant with a slight chill in the air. The temperature drops down to 8 degrees Centigrade with the nights being colder. Kindly note, the popular Camel Fair takes place in November.
Monsoon strikes Pushkar in July and the region witnesses an average rainfall. The humidity level increases but occasional showers do not hinder travel plans. Monsoon offers a relief from the scorching heat and everything looks fresh and verdant.
