The rose garden is located in Sector 16 of Chandigarh and is easily accessible from all parts of the city. You can hire a cab, take an autorickshaw or board a city bus to reach the garden. Sector 17 Inter State Bus Terminus is the nearest bus stand which is well connected with the nearby cities and from the national capital as well.
Best time to visit
February to March is considered to be the best time to visit this garden as there is an annual festival by the name “Rose Festival” during these months. During this festival, tourists can enjoy many activities in the rose garden, which include joy rides, Rose prince and princess contests and rose smelling and photography workshops. The beauty of the roses is bewitching during this period as these months are considered to be spring months in India. Apart from this, the temperatures are also moderate during this time and you can enjoy the comfortably cold weather of Chandigarh during these months.
