The Kanha Tiger Reserve is one of the most prominent tiger reserves in India as well as one of the most scenic wildlife reserves in Asia. Apart from the tiger reserves at Ranthambore, Sariska, and Jim Corbett National Park, the Kanha Reserve Tiger is a bustling wildlife sanctuary located in the state of Madhya Pradesh.  In 1974, the Kanha National Park was taken under the Project Tiger Reserve. The morning time is the ideal time to spot the tigers in this reserve.

Kanha National Park Safari - The Jeep Safari is the perfect way to explore the Kanha National Park. Tourists can easily find a jeep safari on a personal or sharing basis. The authorities of this park provide the jungle safaris in two slots – one slot in the morning which begins from 6 AM to 11 AM and the second slot in the afternoon which starts from 3 PM to 6 PM. Kanha National Park Safari Charges would be around INR 1000 – 2000. But the evening safaris are slightly cheaper than the morning safaris. Safari Booking Kanha facility allows the visitors to book a 6-seater safari from their resort and the resort staff also packs the breakfast for their customers in the morning slot. People can also avail of the Elephant Safaris which could be more exciting and typically available in the morning slot. The cost price of elephant safari is around 300 – 600 INR per head.

The best time to spot the animals in the Kanha Tiger Reserve is early in the morning or after 4 PM. Moreover, the Kanha Tiger Reserve is mainly popular for its wildlife safaris, thus, it attracts many tourists from all over the world.

Fauna in Kanha Tiger Reserve – Hundred of acres of grassy meadows, streams and ravines, indeed a paradise for the wildlife in Kanha Tiger Reserve National Parks, India. This reserve gives the glimpse of several species of wildlife such as tiger, barking deer, Rudd mongoose, and wild pig, chital, Badger, Indian Hare, and Indian Fox etc. along with numerous species of reptiles including Fan Throated Lizard, Indian Krait, Russell ’s viper, Rat Snake, and Indian Garden Lizard etc. There are many fishes species can be found in the water streams of this park such as Brown Snakehead, Giant Danio, Green Snakehead, Common Rasbora, and Mud Perches.

Flora in Kanha Tiger Reserve – This reserve is well-known for its vividness in nature. It is the home to more than 70 species of trees and 200 species of flowering plants. The majorly found floras in this tiger reserve including Lendia, Sal, Palas, Tendu, Bija, Anola, Saja, Bamboo, Mahua, Achar, and Dhawa, etc. Also, some aquatic plants are considered as remarkable features of this park.
