Best time to Visit Kanha National Park

Summer Season (April to June):

The summer season can be considered as the best time to go to Kanha National Park. It is a moderate season for travelers because tourists can expect some great discounts as well. Even, the temperatures are not too high. But sometimes, the temperature soars into the 40oC which cannot be bearable by the tourists.

Winter Season (October to February):

The winter season is not exactly an ideal time to visit the Kanha Tiger Reserve. Although the starting months seem inviting enough, the real problems come from December onwards. At this time, the temperature begins dropping to even 0oC. The environment of this national park has become foggy and only ruins the visitor's experience further as well as making visitors oblivious of the dangers. When the temperature reaches 20oC in the winter season, then the meadows are usually teeming with plenty of tiger activity around the fringes, Barasinghas, and also vegetation starting to die back which enhances visibility.

Monsoon Season (July to September):

The monsoon season of this national park is not a good time to visit. During this season, the heavy rainfall might dampen the travel plans of the travelers. The temperature remains moderate but the heavy rainfall can compel the visitors to avoid making a trip in the monsoon season.
