How to reach Bhopal

The Bhopal Airport is located at a distance of about only 15 km from the center of the city and the airport is well connected to the other major cities of the country like Delhi, Mumbai, Raipur, Ahemdabad, Chandigarh and Kolkata which has International Airports for International traveling. Taxis are available from anywhere in the city to the airport and from the Airport to any destination in the city.

The capital city of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal has its own bus stand namely Kushabhau Thackeray Inter State Bus Stand which is situated at 5 km from the city center and there is a daily course of movement of buses in and out of the city connecting to the other major cities as well as states like Indore 186 km, Jabalpur 295 km, Ujjain 188 km, Khajuraho 377 km, Sanchi 46 km, Berasia 43 km, Pachmarhi 207 km, Gwalior 419 km and Vidisha 62 km and other major cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The city is well connected with the major cities of the state with the NH 12 and NH 86.

Bhopal accommodates two railway stations in the city namely Bhopal Junction in Old Bhopal and Habibganj Railway Station in the new Bhopal. The largest railway station in the city is Bhopal junction. Being the largest station in the city Bhopal Junction is also a major junction on the Delhi - Chennai main Railway line and also makes it a central railway route between Delhi - Mumbai. It helps Bhopal to connect almost all the parts of India. One can easily avail of the cab or taxi from the railway station to the city center.
