Located at a distance of 39 km from Munnar, the heavenly Valara Waterfalls Munnar is fed by Deviyar River which originates from the Western Ghats. It is situated in between Adimali and Neriamangalam on Munnar - Kochi highway (NH49), close to the Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Valara highlights a chain of falls tumbling from a height of around 1000 feet and gives a great view to the spectators.
