Chitradurga Fort

Lying in the Deccan plateau, the Chitradurga Fort is a hidden gem. The Nayaks built the fort between the 15th and 18th century which was later expanded by Haider Ali. The largest fort of Karnataka is built on a rocky landscape and on viewing the fort you can identify that the fort's main purpose was the military fortification of the area. Go on an adventure in the Chitradurga fort, as it consists of four invisible passages, many secret entrances, and around 2000 watchtowers and 18 temples. You can easily spend an entire day here.


One of the most famous tourist places in Karnataka, the beaches of Gokarna town are a feast for the eyes. Spend a call vacation hearing to the rustling waves of the Arabian Sea crashing against the golden sand beaches of Gokarna. You can choose to visit the Mahabaleshwara Swamy temple in Gokarna, another famous landmark for which Gokarna is known all over India. It is believed in Hindu mythology that this is the same temple where Ravana did Puja of the Atmalinga given to him by lord Mahadev himself.


The Mysore palace is an important structure in Mysore which is the third-largest city of Karnataka. You can also choose to spend your time visiting the zoo which is considered to be one of the best in India or shop for some original quality sandalwood in the local market. Mysore is also famous for Ashtanga yoga, in case you are in the mood to stretch your body to its limits.


One of the best hill stations in India, the landscape of Coorg is dotted with spice plantations and coffee plantations. Feel the aroma of freshly ground black coffee and spices such as black pepper, cumin, oregano, sage leaves, basil leaves, garlic and rosemary when you spend your holiday in Coorg.
