Brindavan Garden is located at a distance of about 19 km from the city of Mysore in the Karnataka state. This beautiful garden is under the Krishna raja Sagar Dam on the Kaveri River. The foundation of this garden was laid in the year 1927 and its construction was completed in 1932. The garden is spread over an area of ​​20 acres. The Brindavan Garden Mysore is decorated with dancing fountains and flowers. Songs of films are often played in this garden. Every traveler coming to the city of Mysore must make sure to visit the famous Brindavan Garden. In this garden, there are numerable waterfalls, fountains, and different species of birds and an abundance of attractive flowers. 

The Brindavan Garden Mysore is made up of three terraces which include water fountains, trees, flowerbeds, and flowering plants. The garden has cuttings in the garden (where the bushes are cut into the shape of animals), and the Lata Mandap (a path covered with vines of plant wiper), Stream house, Musical fountains, and lake.

A special attraction of this garden is a small show of water fountains swinging and dancing to the music called the 'Musical Fountains’. Boating can also be enjoyed in this huge garden. It is a round trip from the Northern part of the garden to the Southern part of the garden. Tourists must visit Brindavan Gardens in Mysore to experience the tranquility. The key attraction of the Brindavan Garden Mysore is the musical fountain. The fountain sprinkles a beautiful array of water which is in sync with the music. The fountain is also coupled with laser lights. The Brindavan Garden is lit up as the evening progresses. The flow of the water is controlled digitally. The pressure from the dams nearby are used to fuel the fountains with which a magnificent display of various colored light is visible. There are also the rain shelter and a gallery for the tourists to visit. The songs are played ranging from soulful music to nationalistic songs. This view is so astounding that travelers feel they are in a wonderland. Every year lakhs of tourists come to visit the Brindavan Garden in Mysore. 

The Brindavan Garden Mysore was known as the Krishna-Rajendra Terrace Garden and was formed just below the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam (KRS). It is named after Krishna Raja Wadeyar IV and Sir M. M. Visvesvaraya was the engineer and Mirza Ismail built it. The Brindavan Garden is created in the same style as the Shalimar garden in Kashmir and spread across 60 acres. 

You can see the beautiful decorations on all days of the weeks. This garden is maintained by the Kaveri Department of Irrigation.
