The temperature in winter is in the range of 21 to 32 degrees Celsius in Karnataka and like most of the parts of India, winters are an especially pleasant time to visit the state.

Enjoy the chilly early mornings and mildly cold evenings of Karnataka which are a common occurrence all over the state. You can visit places like Coorg and spend some quality time with your friends and family, sip the famous black coffee of Coorg as you enjoy the scenic beauty of the area. If you are visiting hill stations like Coorg then you should take sufficient warm clothes.

Monsoon Season (July to September):

The entire state smells of fresh moist air and is covered under a green blanket during the monsoons. You should visit especially the national parks during the monsoons as the ephemeral beauty of the jungles comes out in its full galore during the monsoon season. You can also visit the hill stations but avoid visiting the beaches as they can become dangerous during monsoons.
