The first day of your Sri Lanka Trip marks your arrival at Colombo International Airport. Here, you will be welcomed by our tour agent who helps you with a transfer to Kandy by road. En-route you will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. It was originally founded in order to protect many orphaned Elephants spotted in the jungles of Sri Lanka. Colombo is the largest city in Sri Lanka and is also known as the Commercial Capital of this country. It is perched at an elevation of 1159 meter above the sea level.

On the other hand, St. Clair's Falls is one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka and also known as the 'King of Waterfalls' or 'Little Niagara of Sri Lanka'. This waterfall is surrounded by the rocky terrains and lush green forests. This waterfall is formed by Kuda and Maha Falls and undoubtedly is an awe-inspiring waterfall in this country.

Now, continue your drive towards Colombo. As you reach there, you will be going to explore Cinnamon Gardens lined with whitewashed farmstead bungalows along with big verandas in the lush leafy gardens. It is the most prolonged area of Colombo. Today, it contains elegant tree-lined streets with embassies, posh mansions, sports grounds, stylish cafes, and a cluster of museums, shops, and galleries.

Next, set your foot into Fort which is known as the heart of Colombo. This fort was built by the Portuguese, which was later taken over by the Dutch.
