Wildlife Safari in Gujarat

On the 2nd day of the tour, after having breakfast, you will embark on the sightseeing tour of the city. You will go for a safari at the Little Rann of Kutch. This small desert in Kutch is a salt marsh. Though a bleak landscape, it is famous for the Indian Wild Ass, which is an endemic and endangered species. Other mammals that could be seen are Nilgai, blackbuck antelope, Chinkara gazelle, Indian wolf, Indian desert foxes, jackals & lesser cats. The place is rich in biodiversity and is an ecologically important area for wildlife and many local and migratory birds like cranes, ducks, pelicans, flamingos, sand grouse, francolins, and the Indian bustards.

The Little Rann of Kutch is a unique place on the earth with an unending possibility of exploration, many sites for unbelievable sights and unforgettable experiences. Cherish amazing sunset views and bird watching at the Bajana Lake and Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary, respectively.

Later in the evening, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dasada/Bajana.

After breakfast proceed to Sasan Gir. On arrival at Sasan Gir, check in at the hotel. Enjoy evening jungle safari of Sasan Gir Sanctuary, home to the Asiatic Lion. It is the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Spotted deer, Blue bull, Chinkara and the Chausingha (four-horned antelope) are found here, along with the bear and the long-tailed langur. The Park remains closed from 15th June- 15th Oct.

Stay overnight in Sasan Gir.

Next day, early in the morning after having breakfast, you will head to the Gir National Park. You will enjoy the Sasan Gir Jungle Safari all day long. Gir National Park is home to Asiatic Lion, and it is the only remaining home for them. Spread over a sprawling area of 1412 sq. km and out of which 258 sq. km from the core area of the national park. The dry deciduous forests of Gir are home to over 500 species of flora and some endangered species of animals. During the jungle safari you will be able to spot the rare and exotic species of animals, namely jackals, antelope, leopards, Blue Bull, Sambar, Chital, and many more.

Later head back to the forest lodge or resort after the jungle safari. Overnight stay at the hotel in Sasan Gir.

On the 5th day of the tour, after an early breakfast, you will head towards Velavadar. Upon your arrival, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while. Later in the evening, you will proceed for evening safari in the Velavadar Black Buck Sanctuary. It is the best national park for spotting the Black Buck. This national park is home to very important species like lesser florican (a bustard) which are considered being an endemic Indian species. The national park also provides habitat to endangered Indian wolf, jackal, jungle cat, blue bull, antelope, etc. The national park is also home to several migratory birds. The sanctuary remains closed from 15 June to 15 October as it is the breeding time of Black Buck and other species of animals. During the safari, spot some exotic species of animals and birds.

Later in the evening, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Velavadar.

Embark on the early morning safari at Velavadar National Park and spot some endangered species of animals in their natural habitat. Later, proceed to Nal Sarovar, which is famous for bird sanctuary. Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary is one of the renowned bird sanctuaries in India. It accommodates over 250 species of birds, which includes resident and migratory birds. It is a paradise for the bird lovers and ornithologists. People can also visit for boating to spot the exotic species of birds. The bird sanctuary is mainly a wetland and also houses a lake.

After this, you will head towards Ahmedabad. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ahmedabad.

This is the last day of the tour. After having breakfast, you will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Ahmedabad. Then later in the afternoon, you will head towards the airport to board the onward flight.
