Itinerary Details

Upon your arrival at Delhi Railway Station, board your train to Haridwar. Haridwar is elegantly situated on the bank of River Ganges and is the Gateway to Garhwal Himalayas. Haridwar is the place where devotees come to get rid of their sins and attain salvation. This pilgrimage site is dotted with temples, narrow lanes, and ashrams. The holy town is developing as a multifaceted spiritual and cultural center.

As you reach there, get accommodated at your pre-decided hotel and take a rest for a while. Later, pay a visit to a popular Ghat in Haridwar. Har Ki Pauri is also regarded as one of the most sacred Ghats in Haridwar where all the spiritual activities take place. This place got its name due to the footprint of Lord Vishnu which is present on one of the stones of this Ghat. It is the place where River Ganges touches the plains for the first time.

In the evening, you will attend the Ganga Aarti that takes place at the Har Ki Pauri. It is a religious ceremony involving prayers by devotees floating diyas on the holy river. During the aarti, priests perform prayers and chanting mantras. Later on, return to the hotel and savor your dinner

Have your delectable breakfast at the hotel and start your drive towards Joshimath, which is a quaint hill town that is also known as Jyotirmath. It is nestled amidst the lap of snow-capped mountains and situated at an elevation of 6000 feet above the sea level. En-route you will visit Devprayag that is situated at the confluence of rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda. It is a religious hub for the pilgrims and is covered by rolling Himalayan ranges.

On the 4th-day of your Valley of Flowers Hemkund Sahib Trek tour, you will start your trekking to Hemkund Sahib. Highly revered, Hemkund Sahib is a Sikh pilgrimage site. It is located at a height of 4636 meters above the sea level and nestled in the lap of Garhwal Himalayan region. This Gurudwara features snow-clad mountains in the backdrop and the trekking path to this place is surrounded by thick forest, beautiful gushing waterfall, harsh cold climate and captivating views. Here, devotees take a holy dip in the scenic Hemkund Lake that adds beauty to this place.

In the evening, come back to Ghangaria and stay overnight at your pre-decided hotel.

Wake up early in the morning, and head towards the Valley of Flowers. Perched at an altitude of around 3650 meters above the sea level, the Valley of Flowers is surrounded by lofty mountains and lush greenery. This valley has a huge collection of wildflowers species such as Hooked Stick Seed, Dog Flower, Blue Poppy, Himalayan Rose, White Leaf Hog Foot, etc. It is exceptionally rich in 520 species of flowering plants. It is also home to various wild animals such as brown bears, blue sheep, snow leopard, Bharal, Himalayan black bears and rich variety birds as well as butterflies and many more. Get up early in the morning and you will leave for Rishikesh after having breakfast. Rishikesh is surrounded by the crystal clear water of River Ganga, lush green forests and Himalayan peaks. Also, it is a paradise for adventure junkies. Here, you will explore the local places and embark on a temple tour. Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat are the few must-visit places. After that, you will move to Haridwar.
