Itinerary Details

Upon your arrival at the airport, our tour representative will welcome and assist you in a smooth transfer to Vembanad Lake jetty. Later embark on Motor Vessel Vrinda at 1 P.M to sail the backwaters through a luxury cruise ride. The sumptuous lunch served on board the cruiser will make your journey all more alluring as the entire ambiance is aptly complemented by the breathtaking views of green paddy fields, azure waters, and palm-fringed forests.

After a 4 hours long cruise journey through the scenic waterways, the boat will return to the Vembanad Lake where guests will take delight in Classical "Kathakali" dance performance.

Have a scrumptious dinner and night stay on board.

On the second day, the luxury cruiser Vrinda will sail towards the blissful destination Alleppey. Breakfast will be served on the sun deck where sunrise and copious natural beauty of Kerala backwaters create a magical ambiance of tranquility. The cruiser will halt near Kanjippadom and all guests will be ushered to traditional Kettuvalams to explore the narrower sections of Kerala backwaters. To experience the local lifestyle of this region, guests will be taken to a traditional Kerala home for rendezvous with the residents of the house followed by a visit to the half-statue of Lord Buddha at Karumadi.

Lunch will be served on board while the cruise boat 'Motor Vessel Vrinda' sails through the picture-perfect locales of the backwaters making for a truly delightful and enduring experience.

Dinner and night stay on board.

On the third day, the luxury cruiser Vrinda will head towards South and halt near Chambakulam where guests will be taken for a pre-lunch sightseeing excursion on board traditional rice barge. First of all, you will visit St. Mary's Church established by St. Thomas in 1721 followed by Shree Bhagavathy Kshetram at Nemudy, a shrine highly revered by the locals. Also included in the sightseeing excursion is the visit to Chambakulam snake boatyard which displays traditional snake boats used in the actual boat race. Post sightseeing tour, return to the vessel for lunch. Be a spectator to the cultural "Mohiniyattam" dance performance in the evening. Dinner and night stay on board.

On the last day of the cruise backwater trip, the Motor Vessel Vrinda will wind its way back to the Vembanad Lake jetty. Post breakfast, guests will be transported to the Cochin airport for their onward journey.
