Itinerary Details

Upon arrival on Delhi Airport / Railway Station, meet our tour representative. He will be here to guide about your journey to Shimla by road.

Also known as the 'Queen of Hills', Shimla is situated at a height of 2200 m above sea level. It is a famous hill station because of the beautiful hills, splendid colonial architecture, mystical woods, old world charm, pedestrian-friendly mall road and so on. Alluring families, honeymooners and nature lovers alike, the place remains thronged by tourists throughout the year. You can visit Shimla in any season because every season has its own importance and charm.

On reaching there, get accommodation at your pre-booked hotel and rest for a while in your room. The day is to be spent leisurely.

In the night, enjoy your dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast in the morning, your drive will begin towards Kufri which lies nearby Shimla. This hill station almost always remains covered by snow. It is perched at an altitude of 2510 m above sea level. During winters, travelers throng Kufri and enjoy tobogganing and skiing on its snow-covered slopes. It is also famous for its natural parks and picnic spots.

The day trip begins with an excursion to Mahasu Peak, the highest point in the Kufri from where ranges like Kedarnath and Badrinath are clearly visible. Tourists can enjoy trekking and hiking here. Then you will be moving to the Chini Bungalow which is popular for its structure and idols. The structure of this residence is totally inspired by British architectural style. The lawn is fantastically stunning. The mountains in the backdrop background provide a splendid view to the tourists. Now, visit Indira Tourist Park. It is the place where Indira Gandhi marked here presence to sign the Shimla Pact with Pakistan in 1972. This park is quite famous for offering yak rides. However, tourists also love to ride on the pony here. There are many shops like video game parlors, eating stalls, beer bars, etc. for tourists.

Thereafter, return to Shimla and explore Vice Regal Lodge. It is the perfect place for history lovers. This six-story building was built in Scottish Baronial architectural style in 1888. It was the residence of Lord Dufferin, the British Viceroy of India. This place contains texts, photographs and several articles from the era of the British colonial rule. In the evening, take a walk on Mall Road which is the famed as the heart of the town. It is lined up with a myriad of clubs, restaurants, shops, banks, tourist offices, post offices and much more. You can buy things from the stores such as woolen clothes, jewelry, exclusively handcrafted works, wooden products, antiques, etc.

Later, enjoy your dinner and retire for the night at the hotel.

Post having your breakfast early in the morning, get ready for a road trip to Manali. Your Shimla Manali Package allows you pamper yourself to the core at this lover's paradise. It is also known as India's Honeymoon Capital. Manali remains always crowded with national and international tourists during peak seasons. It is nestled in between the snow-capped slopes of the Dhauladhar and the Pir Panjal ranges. Situated 2050 m above the sea level, the hill station in Himachal Pradesh is blessed with extraordinary scenic beauty. Lush green forests, gushing blue streams, jaw-dropping views, sprawling meadows carpeted with flowers, a perpetual fairy-tale and a persistent fragrance of pines and freshness rejuvenate your senses.

As you reach Manali, check-in to the hotel and take some rest. In the evening, explore the Mall Road or Main Street of Manali. Later, take your dinner and relax overnight at the hotel.

The 4th day of your Shimla Kullu Manali Tour Package is full of surprises. Get ready to explore the major attractions in Manali. You will be visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, a 450-year old unique shrine. This temple is dedicated to Hadimba Devi, who is the wife of Bhima and mother of Ghatothkach. This beautiful temple is built on a rock and surrounded by cedar forests. The construction style of this shrine is different from other temples as it flaunts its wooden doorways, cone-shaped roof, and walls. Next, proceed to Jagatsukh, a small picturesque village. This place is famous for the ancient Jagatsukh Shikara-style temples, snow-capped mountain peaks and enchanting natural landscapes. These temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Sandhya Devi.

Your next destination is Vashisht village, also known as old Manali and other is Vashisht Kund. This village is positioned at the base of a cliff and looks like a green patch of a steep hill. The Vashisht temple of this village is built in a traditional style and is adorned with intricate wood carvings. The village also houses hot springs and Vashisht Kund. The hot springs are believed to have medicinal values and can cure many skin diseases. There are also separate bathing arrangements for men and women. Tourists can purchase woolen clothes from this village. In the evening, visit Tibetan Monastery which is quite famous for a number of reasons. The Monasteries are well-off to preserve the culture of the Tibetan people. Most of the local people give their contribution in making handmade art and crafts and then selling it. Later on, come back to the hotel to have your dinner.

Stay overnight at the hotel and relax.

There are two absolutely essential destinations that are included in the Shimla Manali Package Itinerary. These places are Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass. The Solang Valley is situated en route to Rohtang from Manali. It gives a splendid view of glaciers and snow-capped mountains. It is one of the most gorgeous and adventurous places where you can do many things such as paragliding, horse riding, skiing, gondola, skating, zorbing, etc.

This is followed by a trip to Rohtang Pass which is the ultimate tourist spot and located at height 3978 m above the sea level. When your vehicle starts climbing higher on the Keylong Road, the beauty of the landscape around will leave you awestruck. It is a wonderful experience to soak in the beauty of nature while marveling at mountain peaks covered with snow, magnificent and breathtaking view and sprawling white landscapes.

Come back to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

PS: Rohtang Pass excursion is not included in the package cost, due to Manali Taxi Union. It will be chargeable extra and is payable directly by the guests as per the taxi union permit.

Note: Rohtang Pass remains closed on every Tuesday and sightseeing tour will be possible subject to the weather condition.

It is the last day of your Shimla and Manali Package. Have scrumptious breakfast at the hotel and then complete all check-out formalities. Start your journey towards New Delhi from Manali. After reaching Delhi, you will be transferred to airport/railway station to catch flight/train for your onward destination.
