Upon your arrival at Mumbai Airport, enjoy a comfortable ride to the hotel. Mumbai, the 'City of Dreams' becomes lively at night. The rest of the day is at leisure. Relish a nutritious breakfast. Get going for a 4-hour journey to Aurangabad, the 'City of Gates'. After check-in, move towards the city tour. Explore Daulatabad Fort – one of the seven wonders of Maharashtra, also known as Devgiri Fort – a rich tapestry of history. To explore this architectural marvel you need to hike some 750 steps but it is worthy to reach the top. The fort has a strategic location to defend themselves from enemy attack. The beauty of this ancient establishment takes you on a tour of bygone era. Bibi ka Maqbara or Baby Taj Mahal – a replica of the Taj. Post breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Ajanta Caves, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. A cluster of approximately 30 rock-cut caves dating back to the 2nd and 6th centuries is dedicated to Buddhism. These caves depict the relics from the life of Buddha and his teachings. These caves are the finest example of Buddhist religious art and they consist the paintings in the caves predominantly narrates the Jataka tales which depicts the past lives and rebirth of Buddha.
