Itinerary Details

Upon arrival on Delhi International Airport, find our tour representative waiting to pick you and drop at pre-booked hotel. Then, check-in at the hotel and leave for the half-day city tour in Delhi. Firstly, visit the Red Fort which is located in Old Delhi. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century and declared by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Then, head to India Gate which is also called the All India War Memorial. It is a memorial dedicated to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in the First World War.

Then, proceed to sightsee the Lotus Temple. This temple is built in the shape of a lotus flower and its green landscape offers a pleasant and tranquil ambiance. It is a Bahai House of Worship and is open for people of all religions. Next, visit Raj Ghat which is the cremation spot of many notable people other than Mahatma Gandhi. During the anniversary of any of the leaders whose memorial is existing here, you will see people paying their tribute here.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

In the early morning, go to Akshardham Temple that is one of the prominent attractions of the capital of India. This temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. It is a brilliant masterpiece depicting India's ancient architectural style and traditions.

You will board a train in the evening to Umaria which is the nearest town to the Bandhavgarh National Park. The place is bestowed with vast resources of minerals and forests. Manpur, Chandia, Bandhavgarh Fort, etc. are some of the attractions here. It will take an overnight journey by train to reach the well-known home of tigers.

Stay overnight onboard.

Upon arrival at Umaria railway station, you will be picked up by our representative. This will be followed by a drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. Once you reach, follow the check-in procedure at the wildlife resort and take some rest. In the afternoon, a wildlife safari is organized. The ride starts at 4 pm because at this time the animals are most active. You will enjoy this exciting ride on the jeep. Feel the adrenaline rush as you spot the jungle king and other exotic wildlife in wood.

The guide from the Forest Department will always accompany you and guide you about the wildlife safari in detail. The Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is known for its large population of Indian Tigers and Leopards. This national park is best known for a higher density of Tigers over the globe.

Later on, return to your resort and enjoy the cultural program arranged at your wildlife resort. This is accompanied by a cheerful bonfire.

Stay overnight at the resort.

It is the 4th day of your Bandhavgarh National Park tour which starts with the chirping of birds early in the morning. Thereafter, the entire day of jungle safari is booked for game viewing in the national park. There, you will explore the secrets of the dark forests and get a tremendous experience of spotting wildlife species in their natural habitats.

In order to make the most of your wildlife holidays, don't forget to carry a camera with you. Keep your binoculars in hand because you don't know what may come as a surprise for you and when. Also, while delighting in a wonderful experience, do not forget to follow the rules of the forest. If you're planning a visit in the summer season, you can easily spot various animals because they often come out for water. You will spot various types of animals such as Nilgai, Bengal Tigers, Chausingha, Wild Boar, Chital, and a Jackal or Fox. You will spend your entire day cherishing exciting adventure offered at the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Proceed to Bandhavgarh Fort which is perched on a hill. Legends say that this fort was made by Lord Rama for his younger brother Laxman to keep an eye over Lanka. You can see the fabulous sighting of the hills of Bandhavgarh from this fort. When here, notice how beautifully the forest and old structure have meshed into each other.

After that, you will enjoy bird watching. Bandhavgarh is the home to several native and migratory birds such as Indian Pond Heron, Racket Tailed Drongo, Sarus Crane, Asian Paradise Fly Catcher, Jungle Fowl, Indian Roller, Breasted Kingfisher and many more. Bandhavgarh is the mélange of Vindhya hills ranges, dense tropical forests, and wetland that makes this place more suitable as a favorable habitat.

In the evening, return to the resort for an overnight stay.

After scrumptious breakfast, you will leave for Kanha Tiger Reserve today. Kanha Tiger Reserve is the best tiger wildlife safari destination. So, wildlife enthusiasts from all over the world, visit the place for an amazing experience. The park remains open only from 16th October to 30th June every year.

Bamboo forests, picturesque ravines and grassy meadows of Kanha even inspired Rudyard Kipling to pen down his famous novel "The Jungle Book". It is also called the "Tiger Country" where you can spot Tigers.

After reaching, check-in at the Kanha wildlife resort and enjoy and overnight stay.

Wake up in the morning and get ready for yet another round of awe-inspiring wildlife safari. The full day game safari is planned for you in Kanha National Park. Two safaris are planned for you in the park - morning & evening. Kanha National Park is the largest national park in the Madhya Pradesh and is home to many birds, insects, animals, butterflies, and reptiles.

If you get lucky enough, you can capture some candid photographs of tigers including Royal Bengal Tigers, the Tigers along with some other animals like hard ground barasinghas, wild dog, jackals, sloth bear, wild boar, leopard, Swamp deer, Blackbuck, and many more animals. Kanha allows the tourists to catch the glimpses of the rare wild creatures.

At the end of the day, stay overnight at the hotel.

On day 7 of your Kanha Bandhavgarh Tour, you will head for Nagpur, the winter capital of the Indian state, Maharashtra. The city is basically famous for oranges and hence it is known as the 'Orange City of India'. The Dragon Palace Temple and Deekshabhoomi are important religious places for Buddhists across India and the world. Other attractions include the Nagpur Central Museum which is the oldest museum in Maharashtra and is also known as "Ajab Bangla". The Raman Science Centre, High Land Park, Dwarka River Farms are some of the must-visit places here. You can explore them on your own if you want to.
