Hospet is well-known for its historical monuments, thus, it is called the Fort Town of Karnataka. This historic city is popular for the alluring town of Chitra Durga, Fort Town that includes various architectural marvels of the great ruler of the Vijayanagara Empire. Also, this town is popular for the historical ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire that is prominently distributed in the twin cities of Hampi and Hospet.

Hospet Tour Packages consists of many tourist attractions in and around Hospet. Tungabhadra Dam was constructed by Dr. Thirumalai Lyengar, a Chennai Native. This dam provides many facilities like irrigation, power generation, preventing floods, and rainwater harvest. Besides, Chitradurga is also known as the “Palace of Stone” and “Kallina Kote” that was built by Tipu Sultan. This marvelous fort has seven big walls along with gates each and consists of 19 temples of which the popular one is the Hidimbeshwara Temple. In addition to it, there are many temples in Hospet like Vittala Temple – an architectural magnificence temple is situated very close to Hospet and popular for its unmatched craftsmanship and musical pillars, Raghunath Temple – one of major historic tourist spot and stands out for the unique white-washed pillars in the middle of the temple, Virupaksha Temple – consists of carvings dated back to 8th and 9th century and is well-known for its 56 musical pillars that produce different sounds when struck, and Nayakanahatti Thipperudra Swamy Temple – it is dedicated to Thippeswamy who was a Hindu Spiritual Guru.

Apart from it, there is another tourist place Anantasayanagudi Village which attracts history lovers. This village was built by former king Krishna deva Raya and contains a grand and amazing temple that is truly an architectural splendid. This temple has Sabha Mandapa, Maha Mandapa, and even a rectangular Garbhgriha.
