Itinerary Details

On your arrival in Delhi, our representative will meet and accompany you to your pre-booked hotel. Post-check-in at the hotel, you are free to unwind or visit the famous markets of Delhi for shopping. Each bustling markets of Delhi like Janpath, Tibetan Market, Connaught Place, Palika Bazar, Chandni Chowk, etc. has a unique ambiance. An array of goods ranging from arts and crafts, souvenirs, clothing or electronics at the best prices will definitely urge to go for a shopping spree in Delhi.

After extensive shopping, get back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Today, after an appetizing breakfast, you embark upon a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. The capital of India, Delhi surely takes you on a journey of discovery. During the first half of the day, you will visit Jama Masjid. Also known as Masjid-i Jahan-Numa, Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques in India. Its courtyard can hold an unbelievable 25,000 devotees. Then visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world is an excellent example of early Indo-Islamic architecture.

Later, explore some other places like the remarkable India Gate (a memorial to the martyrs), the sprawling circular columns of Parliament House and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Humayun's Tomb. Constructed out of red sandstone, Humayun's Tomb is a perfect example of Persian architecture.

After exploring the historic sites, it's time for a break to have your lunch. The tour then continues again by visiting Birla Mandir. A Hindu temple, most commonly known as Laxmi Narayan Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.

Later in the evening, visit last but not the least attraction of the day, the Red Fort which is also known as Lal Qila due to the red sandstone used for constructing it. Start your morning with a delicious breakfast and then head out for sightseeing tour. Visit the famous City Palace which was built by Maharana Udai Singh and has several buildings within its complex. In addition to inbuilt palaces, its huge towers, balconies, terraces, gardens, cupolas and museum captivate you. Displaying a remarkable collection of ancient sculpture, antiques and inscriptions of the Mewar dynasty, the palace presents a sight to behold. Then visit one of the oldest Jagdish Temples in India. Presenting the perfect Indo-Aryan style of architecture, this temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

After getting the best panoramic views of the grand City Palace, it's time to have lunch and then explore a few other places like Saheliyon Ki Bari. Garden of the Maids or Saheliyon Ki Bari features verdant greenery, flowers, wonderful fountains, lotus pools and marble artifacts and pavilions which are perfect for an ideal romantic getaway. Later visit Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, an institution which offers courses in folk art, culture, songs and festivities of Rajasthan. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and then visit artificial Fateh Sagar Lake. This beautiful lake which is surrounded by hills on the three sides offers a stunning view of the mighty Aravalli Mountains.

On the fifth day of Golden Triangle with Rajasthan & Khajuraho tour, you will drive to the sacred city of Pushkar after having breakfast. En route visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah. The holy Sufi shrine of Moinuddin Chishti will allow you to witness various rituals and traditions. Post today's breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the marvelous Amber Fort. The Fort which was built in red sandstone and white marble portrays the story of Mughal and Hindu architectural combinations. Besides admiring the timeless beauty, you can cherish an enthralling ride on an elephant here. Later, explore some of the other attractions like City Palace. One of the major landmarks of Jaipur, the City Palace boasts of not only the rich historical heritage but also of an amazing combination of Rajasthani, Mughal and European architecture styles. This is followed by a visit to the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and Jantar Mantar. Also known as a Royal Observatory, Jantar Mantar has a unique structure and houses one of the biggest sundials in the world. Many architectural and astrological instruments located within the complex are used to provide exact time measurements, sun declination, constellation positions and other data pertaining to astronomy. In the evening, you can stroll around the nearby areas and conclude the day with a pleasant note.

Day 8 starts with a delicious breakfast. Subsequently, you will be driving towards the most beautiful city, Agra which is home to many charms other than just the Taj Mahal. After having a delicious breakfast, it's time to set out for another journey. So, proceed from Agra to Gwalior. Upon reaching Gwalior, check-in at the hotel. Today, you will be driving towards the most popular attraction in Madhya Pradesh, Khajuraho that houses a plethora of historical monuments and natural wonders to visit.
