Itinerary Details

Your trip will start with your arrival in Delhi. Our representative will welcome you in Delhi and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the capital city by yourself. You can go out to explore the nearby attractions or local markets to buy some souvenirs. An excursion to Dilli Haat will help you understand the culture of the country at a single place.

Stay in Delhi for the night.

Today, after breakfast you will start your Delhi sightseeing. The old and new Delhi shares a harmonious existence with each other. Delhi is known for the historical monuments that one can explore in the city. Start the sightseeing with Birla Mandir. The beautiful 'Sheesh' Mahal in the temple looks wonderful. Then visit the India Gate, a famous monument that was built to commemorate the sacrifice of the British Indian Army during the First World War. The monument looks splendid from a distance.

After this, visit the Parliament House of India from outside. Your next stop will be the Red Fort. The gorgeous architecture of the fort is a wonderful sight to behold. Red Fort was the main residence of the rulers of the Mughal Dynasty. After this visit Jama Masjid, one of the biggest mosques in the country. Treat your taste buds to delicious Mughlai dishes in Old Delhi. Visit the Gandhi Memorial. Later you get to enjoy Light and Sound Show at the Red Fort to get detailed insight into the Mughal era.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

On day 3 of your Golden Triangle with Beach and Backwaters, start your journey from Delhi to Agra. This city is famous for its historical monuments that are situated here. Reaching Agra, visit the Taj Mahal. Be awestruck with the marvelous architecture of the white mausoleum. The Taj Mahal is known as an epitome of love as it was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. Next, visit the Agra Fort. The historical fort was the residence of the Mughal emperor till 1638. The fort situated on a hill looks beautiful from a distance.

Return to the hotel after this and stay for the night.

The fourth day will be a long one since you will cover many places. Post breakfast, leave from Agra for Jaipur by road. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a beautiful fort city built by the Mughals. The grand 'Buland Darwaza' shows the excellence of the architects of the Mughal era. Also visit the Jama Mosque, Panch Mahal and Salim Chishti's Tomb.

Reach Jaipur in the evening and check-in at the hotel. You can either choose to go out to explore the place on your own or can sit back and soak in the comforts of your room.

Jaipur is one of the planned cities in India. This beautiful city flaunts the magnificent architecture and heritage of the Rajputs. The city is decorated beautifully with a wonderful amalgamation of the old and new. Visit the Amber Fort, riding an elephant like the royals. The fort is situated at the top of a hill and the view of the place from the city is lovely. Witness the grand lifestyle of the kings inside the fort. After this, visit the City Palace of Jaipur. There is a museum in the City Palace which showcases many historical artifacts. Then visit Hawa Mahal – a stunning landmark of Jaipur and Jal Mahal - a beautiful palace in the middle of a lake.

In the evening, you can do shopping in the bustling markets of Jaipur. Buy Jaipuri suits, bedsheets or quilts. Shop for some unique handicrafts. Savor traditional Rajasthani cuisines.

After the tour to the historical places, it's time to relax in Goa. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Jaipur airport to board a flight to Goa. Upon arrival, our representative will receive you and escort you to the hotel. The rest of the day is for you to enjoy. Relax and explore the beautiful Goa on your own.

Wake up early on the seventh day to explore Goa. Loved by visitors owing to the blue sea, sandy beaches and beautiful greenery decorated with coconut trees, the small state surely casts a spell. Apart from natural beauty, various monuments also adorn and increase the attractiveness of the place.

You will visit tourist destinations like Pillar Monastery, Colva Beach, Vasco City and Mormugao Harbor. The Colva Beach looks refreshing with blue sea and green hills that stretch across the land and meets the sea. After this, have lunch and start with the latter part of the visit. Visit Panaji City, the capital of Goa and hence you can see many administrative buildings here. Panaji looks beautiful and the walkway beside the Mandovi River is an absolute traveler's delight. After this, visit Miramar Beach. The beach is perfect for an afternoon stroll. Then visit Dona Paula. The view of the sea and the surrounding city looks splendid from the viewpoint.

Come back to the hotel after the tiring day and stay there for the night.

Today you are free to enjoy Goa at your own pace. It's a crime if you can't chill as per your wish in Goa. Hence spend the day knowing more about Goa, its locals, their lifestyle and Goan cuisines. Enjoy swimming in the sea or relax at the beach shacks offering awesome food and drinks. Enjoy mesmerizing sunset by the beach. Rent a two-wheeler and explore the countryside. Indulge in shopping at the local markets.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, start your trip towards the south by boarding a flight to Cochin. We will transfer you to the Goa airport to catch the flight. Upon reaching Cochin you will drive towards Munnar which is a pretty hill station. Dotted with pristine lakes, exotic lush greenery, tea gardens, and craggy peaks, Munnar is also blessed with panoramic natural viewpoints. On the way, you will stop for visiting the enchanting cascades namely Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls. Enjoy the fantastic climate and cool breeze. Spend some quality time here and revel in this pristine beauty of nature. Later you will start your journey for Munnar. Upon your arrival in Munnar, get accommodated at your pre-decided hotel and relax for a while. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can take a stroll nearby the resort and delve into the majestic beauty of this hill station.

On the 10th day of the tour, after a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on the sightseeing tour of Munnar including Tea Museum where tourists can learn about the plantations and processing of tea. Then you will visit the Mattupetty Dam which is treated for the eyes of the tourists. Encompassed by the lush greenery of tea plantations and dense forests around here. Also, the place is home to many birds and wild animals. The city tour also includes Echo Point which is towering at an elevation of 600 m above the sea level and this place is settled in the lap of a charming lake and misty hills that are covered with lush green trees. The place is well-known for its enthralling phenomenon of echoing. Enjoy the peaceful walk around the gentle slopes of hills. You can also enjoy a ride on the boat in the serene water of the lake. Then you will go to Kundala Lake which is an idyllic place encompassed by rolling hills and valleys with dense forests. You can enjoy the boat ride here.

Later you will visit the Eravikulam National Park which is also called Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary. It is famous for housing highly endangered Nilgiri Tahr, a popular mountain goat of South India. The national park is home to a rich and diverse variety of flora and fauna including atlas moth, elephant, lion-tailed macaque, rare leopard, tiger, small-clawed otter, etc. Also, the park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a place where rare Neelakurinji Flowers bloom once in 12 years.

Return to the hotel after the exploration tour. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Start your 11th day of the tour with a delicious breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Then you will hit the road to Thekkady. It is the home to the country's largest Tiger Reserve, Periyar National Park is a perfect place to enjoy your wildlife holidays. Thekkady is a paradise for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.

Upon your arrival, have an assisted check-in at the hotel or jungle lodge and unwind yourself. Take some rest and then you will hit the road to visit Periyar Lake. Explore the majestic beauty of the lake by a boat ride. During your ride, marvel at elephants bathing on the lakeside. You can adore the beauty of the lake and cherish those memories for a long time.

Then you will head to the Periyar National Park which is one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world. This national park is an abode of elephants, royal tigers, bison, fishes, reptiles, wild boars, and birds. You can also indulge in several adventure activities which include border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle patrol, following the Periyar tiger trail, and so on.

Return to the lodge after the sightseeing tour of the national park. Overnight stay in your jungle lodge in Thekkady.

After having breakfast you will head towards Kumarakom. Enjoy the scenic beauty en-route. Upon your arrival, check-in at the hotel and then visit the famous Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is situated at the banks of the Vembanad Lake. Spread over a sprawling area of 14 acres of land, this sanctuary accommodates a wide variety of birds like egret, kingfisher, owl, cuckoo, Siberian crane, teal, wood beetle, etc. This place is like a paradise for bird watchers and one can spot several migratory birds here.

Later you will visit Kumarakom Beach which is the perfect place to indulge in the water sports activities including parasailing, scuba diving at your own expense. You can take a walk alongside the beach and swim.

Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kumarakom.

Start your onward journey to Kovalam, our last stop of the trip. The drive will refresh your mind. Check-in at the hotel after reaching Kovalam. Later head out to explore the Kovalam Beaches. Enjoy a beautiful sunset by the beach. Kovalam beaches are known for their beauty.

Enjoy at the beach till the evening.

Later on, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

The beaches in Kovalam are loved by all due to their scenic beauty. The natural greenery around the shallow blue waters of the sea is a treat to the eyes. The beaches in Kovalam are well maintained. You will spend the day at the beaches. Indulge in swimming and enjoy a delicious lunch at the beach. Witnessing another sunset and return to the hotel in the evening.

Today marks the end of this India Golden Triangle and beach tour. After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive down to the Trivandrum Airport. Catch your flight to Delhi. Upon reaching Delhi, you can board your homebound train or flight.
