Stay in the hotel for the night.

After the delicious breakfast, start your drive towards North Goa for an exciting sightseeing tour which is a major highlight of your 6 nights 7 days Goa package. The tour starts from Anjuna Beach: - It is a popular beach in Goa which has witnessed the Hippie culture back in the olden days. The flea market here still holds the topmost position. The beach is famous among foreigners. This seaside is not new for travelers, hippies, and the ones who are looking for cheap stays or guesthouses. Next, you head towards Fort Aguada– Albeit Fort Aguada currently serves as the Central Jail, it has seen many historical battles and incidents that had a direct impact to the fort itself. It was built in 1609-12 and is the largest and best-preserved bastion in Goa. The intention of building the fort was to protect Old Goa from the external enemy attacks. You can also enjoy water sports at the Baga and Calangute Beach.

Then there is the Vagator Beach, which has an attractive silver sandy stretch with huge red cliffs overseeing it. One can also find 2 fresh, sparkling springs in close proximity to the coast that seem quite captivating. A cruise ride on the Mandovi River which lies around 30 km from here is also on the list. Next you will be takes to Mapusa. Here, the tourists can choose from a variety of exploration options from the busy bazaars to ancient forts that are visually alluring, in addition to being great historical attractions.

In the Mapusa Bazaar, you can experience the best sights and sounds of a rustic market. You can also pick up some authentic Goan ware. The whole market flourishes with the fervent calls of vendors displaying their products, with the sandy streets lined with colorful stacks of fresh fruits and spices.

Next is the Shri Bodgeshwar Temple, which is located in close proximity to Mapusa and about 12km from Panaji. The temple is situated amidst a lush green location and is home to a small shrine devoted to Kanakeshwar Baba or Bodgeshwar, locally identified as Bongini.

Bodgeshwar, who is also called as "Angavani", stands for the one in whose name vows are made and who fulfills the desires of the devotees. The people here hold a belief that all their prayers and wishes will be fulfilled. This is also the reason why thousands of devotees are attracted to this temple.

Return to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day 3 of your Goa itinerary for 7 days comes with lots of surprises. After breakfast, continue your sightseeing journey towards South Goa. Today, you will be covering places like St Cathedral Church: This spiritual shrine is one of the oldest and famous buildings in all of Goa. It is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria. It was constructed in 1631 and took about 62 years to complete.

Basilica de Bom Jesus: Built in 1605, the Basilica is one of the top attractions of Goa. It has the famous tomb and the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. He was one of the patron saints of the Catholics in Goa. The construction is in Portuguese style and hence the basilica is renowned for its architecture. Next on the list is Palolem Beach where you let yourself loose and just have a fabulous time. The raw, preserved beauty is one of the greatest attractions of this beach. This beach is thronged by the local fishermen and foreign tourists alike. It is also called as the Paradise Beach of India. This beach is visited by tourists all year long which includes both international and domestic travelers.

Call it a day at the Panjim Bazar as you shop away at the market. This is a must-visit place for all those who wish to carry a bit of Goa back with them. Panjim bazar offers a variety of goods like wines, cashew nuts, local handicrafts, etc.

Head back to the hotel and stay there overnight.

After the delicious breakfast, leave for the Dudhsagar Waterfalls. It is viewed as one of the most stunning waterfalls of Goa and is located on the eastern border with Karnataka. The water falls from a height of 320m which is considered as one of the highest waterfalls in India. As the water plunges down it appears like milk is pouring down. Hence the name of the waterfall is Dudhsagar, which means, "sea of milk".

You can reach Dudhsagar from Colem and hop on a safari van or safari jeep which passes through small villages, past bright paddy fields and swaying palm trees. A short trek through the woods will lead you to the base of the waterfalls. You can have a splash in the cool waters of the pond as well as under the waterfalls.

After lunch, enjoy a thrilling ride on the elephant and feed the elephant. Click pictures with the huge creature and cherish the memory for a lifetime. However, this is not included in your Goa trip package and is available on a direct payment basis, along with the safari charges. Afterward, visit the Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.
