Adhai Din ka Jhopda is another majestic site that exemplifies the landscape of Ajmer. Originally a Sanskrit college built by Visaldeva (a Chauhan ruler), the building was converted into a mosque by Qutbuddin Aibak in the 12th century. On the mosque’s central mihrab, the completion year of the mosque which is 1199 A.D. is engraved which makes it the second oldest mosque in India. This structure is a fine example of Hindu, Jain and Islamic architecture.

The Ana Sagar Lake is an artificial lake built by the grandfather of Prithviraj Chauhan in 1150 A.D. The local population helped in building the catchment areas, the lake is huge and is spread over 13 kilometers. Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built the pavilions in 1637 and the astonishing Daulat bagh gardens were built by the emperor Jahangir. You can enjoy a boat ride to the center of the lake which comprises an island. 

Pushkar is another famous tourist attraction of Rajasthan which is located nearby the Ajmer. Pushkar is a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus having around 52 Ghats and numerous temples. The most famous temple of the city is the temple of Lord Brahma, which is thought to be the only temple of Lord Brahma in India.
