Itinerary Details

Welcome to Delhi. Our tour representative will meet you on your arrival at the Delhi airport. Get a smooth transfer to the hotel and complete the check-in formalities. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can take rest in your hotel room or take a tour of famous places in Delhi. The recommended places that you can visit include Red Fort the Mughal edifice, India Gate a war memorial, Humayun's tomb, world heritage site Qutub Minar, Parliament House, Birla Mandir, etc. You can enjoy a Light & Sound show at Red Fort that is presented every evening except on Monday. Another fun activity is rickshaw ride in Chandni chowk that will take you to the medieval age.

On day 2, you will start on your Bharatpur tour after breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and board the car for a road trip to Bharatpur. On your way, you will visit the Sultanpur bird Sanctuary on the Gurugram-Jhajjar highway. A perfect destination for nature lovers and birding enthusiasts, Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is home to a wide species of birds.

The resident bird in the park includes common hoopoe, purple sunbird, Indian Cormorant, white-throated kingfisher, magpie robin, etc. During the peak season that is winter you can spot here about 250 species of migratory birds such as Siberian crane, greater flamingo, yellow and white wagtail, rosy pelican, etc. Also, in summer about 11 species of migratory birds such as black-crowned night heron, Asian Koel, grey heron, knob-billed duck, Blue-cheeked bee-eater, Indian golden oriole, blue-tailed bee-eater, and cuckoos flock in the park.

The Sultanpur Jheel with an area of 1.21 sq. Kilometers became the Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary in 1971 and was upgraded to a national park in 1972. After bird watching in Sultanpur bird sanctuary, resume your journey to reach Bharatpur and on arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Morning is the best time for spotting birds. So get ready early in the morning to visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary one of the best places for bird watching in India. Also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park, it spreads across an area of 30 sq. km and is home to around 375 species of birds. Spot colorful birds like Indian Darter, Siberian Crane, Indian Saurus crane, oriental ibis, heron white spoonbill, bee-eaters, quails, babblers, buntings, osprey, short-toed eagle, warblers, etc. You can take a rickshaw ride, jeep ride or elephant ride inside the park, but during the morning, taking a walk is the best option. After bird watching in the morning light, back to your hotel. In the evening, you can explore the park on a bicycle along with others.

Today morning after breakfast, you will leave for Delhi by road. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and take rest. The rest of the day is free so you can do the things of your choice. You can visit Connaught Place the largest shopping hub in India or can wander around the nearby streets.

This is the closing day of the tour. Post breakfast, get transferred to the airport to catch a flight for your onward journey and browse the beautiful pictures you have clicked for the last two days.
