Chandratal Lake: This Lake is often regarded as one of the most delightful lakes. It is elevated at an altitude of about 4300 meters above the sea level in the mighty Himalayas. The color of the water of this stunning lake keeps changing from reddish to orange to blue to emerald green as the day ends.

Suraj Tal Lake: This Lake is the third largest lake in India and is situated at an altitude of 4950 meters above the sea level. It is considered as “The Lake of Sun God” and is one of the most dream-like and photogenic lakes.

Tabo Monastery: It is one of the oldest monasteries in India and standing tall at a dizzying height of 10,000 feet above the sea level. This alluring monastery is well-known as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas” because the walls of this place are decorated with ancient paintings and fascinating murals like the Ajanta Caves.

Kibber:  It is a small village located at an altitude of 4270 meters above sea level. This village is covered by barren landscapes and picturesque mountains. It is mainly famous for the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary and the local monastery.

Key Monastery: This monastery is a popular Tibetan Buddhist monastery and is situated at a height of 4155 meters above sea level. It is the largest monastery in the entire Spiti Valley and was founded by Dromton in the 11th century.

Dhankar Monastery: This monastery is perched at an elevation of 12,774 feet on the edge of a cliff that gives the panoramic view of Spiti Valley. It is counted as one of the world’s 100 most endangered monuments.

Pin Valley National Park: The elevation of this national park ranges from about 3500 meters to more than 6000 meters above the sea level. The national park is the home to the rare species of well-known Himalayan snow leopards and is most popular for its amazing trek that is a delight for all its visitors.

Kunzum Pass: Also known as Kunzum La and is one of the highest motorable mountain passes of India. This pass is perched at an altitude of 4551 meters above the sea level, thus, it gives an incredible 3600 view of Bara-Shigri Glacier, a spectacular view of the Valley, and also a jaw-dropping vista of Chandrabhaga Range.

Komic Village: Situated at an altitude of 4,587 meters above the sea level and this village is considered to be the highest village in the world connected by the motorable road. This remote village offers the majestic views of the valley.

Langza Village: This high altitude village is famous by the name of the Fossil Village. You can find the fossils here and you enjoy the enchanting views of the Chau Chau Kang Nilda Peak from here.

Hikkim Village: This village is famous for having the world’s highest post office in the world which is located at the altitude of 4,440 meters above the sea level.
