Disco Valley is a popular club and has been hosting parties right there since 1990. Christmas and New Year are especially festive when merry-making and revelry go on late into the night. Robert’s Place is another popular meeting place in town. They are open all through the day and night and are very popular among foreigners.

Saturdays at Vagator are extremely colorful and vibrant with the local flea market when vendors bringing out their wares. It is the longest flea market and you can find a comprehensive variety of trinkets among the designer jewelry shops, dress material stalls, shoes, designer bags, and crockery shops and even the souvenir shops. You can also haggle for caps, scarves, stoles, and toys while pampering your taste buds with local savories and snacks.

Apart from sunbathing, strolling along the beach, and playing in the water, you can have a good time at night clubs, Vagator has a lot more to offer. Enjoy adventure sports at Vagator beach. There are expert guides for para-sailing, jet-skiing, trekking, and rides on motorboats. The boat ride into the bay area for dolphin sighting is a different experience and you can even catch a glimpse of the old jail and Chapora Fort along the coast.

Vagator is approachable from Mapusa which is the nearest bus station and just an hour from the airport. The nearest railway station is Thivim from where a local taxi can take you to Vagator in half an hour.
