Bhutan is incredible throughout the year and abundant heritage places offer never-ending happiness to the tourists. September to November (autumn) and March to May (spring) is the Best Time to Travel to Bhutan. Due to its location, this country is prone to varying climatic and altitude differences. Bhutan has distinct seasons namely summer, spring, autumn, rainfall, and winter. The spring season falls from March to May and the weather is pleasant and beautiful. On the other hand, the autumn season comes from September to November that boasts of genial and affable weather. The summer season is from June to August where the temperature ranges between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. But July onwards, the south-west monsoons set in offsetting the heat. Similarly, the months of December to February are the winter months when the people witness the spell of north-east monsoons. Also, the snowfall is expected in late January and early February that the temperature drops low. For trekking, the ideal time to visit Bhutan is between October and December because the skies are clear and the climate is mild.
